The European Union's Green Houses Directive is a key step toward a more sustainable future. By 2030, all residential buildings must reach at least energy class E<\/strong>, and by 2033, class D must be achieved. While starting in 2028, all newly constructed residential buildings must be built with zero emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that of the 12.5 million residential buildings in Italy, the least efficient buildings that will have to be upgraded with priority will be about 5 million. The interventions needed are those financed until a few months ago by the Superbonus: thermal insulation, replacement of windows and doors, new boilers and solar panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
