Schüco systematically studies and improves existing and established products. The result of this continuous development is the new Schuco ASE 60 (Aluminum Sliding Element) range of sliding systems. 

Designed to provide maximum transparency to the rooms, thanks to ultra-thin visible sections allow the creation of very large glass openings (up to 3,500 x 3,500 mm), completely transforming the interior of a house, adding value to the building and improving the quality of life.

New aesthetic standards: Design Line

Thanks to their extremely slim sash profiles (only 82 mm in visible thickness), which give the windows an elegantly minimalist look, Schueco ASE 60 sliding doors maximise the amount of glazed area, increasing the amount of natural light in the room.

In addition, the only 40 mm Design Line centre column provides a continuous view of the outside landscape, allowing you to live in close contact with the surrounding landscape, for osmotic environments in continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor.

Transparency, fine lines and sophisticated elegance are the advantages of using the Design Line section, which can be used in all the different manual sliding and lifting-sliding configurations. In addition to the Design Line version, the centre section is also available in the standard 102 mm version, either manual or TipTronic motorised.

Threshold types of the Schueco ASE 60 sliding doors system

The Design Line threshold is completely flat in line with the floor, thus facilitating and making safe the transition between indoor and outdoor environments, in line with the principles of inclusive architecture, resulting easily walkable even by the elderly, children or a wheelchair.

However, achieving zero level with the Design Line threshold is an invasive operation that requires work on the masonry and is therefore less recommended for renovation work. The most effective solution is the 25mm lowered threshold, with a slight rise that does not take up any space, or the standard threshold, which is characterized by high sealing performance.

Schueco ASE 60 sliding doors system: safety and technology

The equipment is integrated into the door and concealed by a completely flat profile, resulting in a clean and attractive appearance. The Schuco SmartStop and SmartClose technologies ensure that the Schuco ASE 60 and Schuco ASE 80 HI sliding systems can be operated safely. When a sliding door is opened, SmartStop slows it down and minimizes the risk of crushing. The SmartClose damping mechanism ensures maximum user-friendliness regardless of speed: it stops the movable door as it closes and guides it very slowly and safely into the fixed frame.

Schuco ASE 80 HI Design Line: Thermal insulation to Passive House standard

With this family of Schuco lift and slide doors, Schuco has introduced new design possibilities and dimensional depths: the Schuco ASE 60 and ASE 80 HI systems protect against the elements with an adequate air and water infiltration resistance, ensuring due resistance to wind loads. High acoustic and thermal insulation values round off the excellent performance of this range, thus ensuring durability and living comfort.

The different overall dimensions of the two systems, 60 mm for Schuco ASE 60 and 80 mm for Schuco ASE 80, therefore determine the different thermal and acoustic performance; for high thermal insulation requirements at Passive House level, the Schuco ASE 80 HI profile system must be used, i.e. with a base depth of 80 mm.

Opening types of Schuco ASE 60 and Schuco ASE 80 HI systems

The variety of possible opening types and configurations makes this one of the most modular and flexible systems in architectural design. 

All versions of the system - single, double and triple track - are based on multifunctional profiles that allow optimal use of identical parts. The equipment system, which is also modular, can be used for both sliding and lifting systems.

Intelligent Technologies for maximum comfort

Thanks to the incorporation of special technologies that can be concealed in the sash profiles, the movement of Schueco ASE 60 sliding doors and ASE 80 HI aluminium sliding doors is really easy and safe, even with very heavy mirrors.

In addition to manual operation, Schuco ASE 60 and Schuco ASE 80 HI sliding systems can also be operated automatically using Schüco TipTronic SimplySmart, whose mechanical and electrical components are integrated into the profiles in order to maintain the aesthetic linearity of the frame.

Operated with a simple click, remotely or in response to specific environmental conditions detected, TipTronic technology guarantees silent operation and the possibility of programming automatic opening and closing scenarios based on the user's needs. In addition, the new control button with LED illumination not only provides constant control over the movement of the sash, but also shows the status of the frame and diagnoses any faults.

A specific integration with home automation management systems with voice commands, finally, allows to control the slides also through the simple use of the voice, for a functional and intelligent management of the rooms.
